Above are the representations of the Justice League and their inter-dimensional counterparts the Crime Syndicate from Crisis on Two Earths on top, and the Justice Lords from the DC Animated Universe.  In each situation, the Justice League crosses dimensions to fight the evil versions of themselves.  With these alternate versions we see alternate costumes, and the evil counterparts often are shown with more evolved and stylized suits stemming from the original costume (with the exception of Wonder Woman and Superwoman who is actually the evil counterpart to Mary Marvel).
